The Jefferson Area Board on Aging helps seniors in our community live a better life. Recognizing that access to prescriptions and affordable care is fundamental to healthy aging, Sentara Cares grant funding supported Medicare and insurance counseling services for the community. The program provides unbiased guidance for seniors during Medicare’s Open Enrollment period, to help people save money and improve access to care through informed choices about their healthcare coverage.
