From Hardship to Hope at Southwood

Recognizing that safe, decent, affordable housing is fundamental to a healthy life, Sentara Health has proudly invested more than $300,000 over the past three years to support a visionary redevelopment project led by Habitat for Humanity of Charlottesville at Southwood. Most recently, Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital provided $100,000 in grant funding through the Sentara Healthier Community Fund to help families transition into rental and ownership opportuities in redeveloped Southwood and elsewhere.
